best meal ever

The infamous duck breast salad, which had some sauce on top which I
have now determined to be a balsamic vinegar based dressing, but
thicker and much more akin to unagi sauce, if anyone knows what i'm
talking about. Basically...bomb. And I will forever rub this in
Eric's face, that is until we go back one day and have it
again...choir tour 2010?

Here's the resturaunt details a la frommers:
http://www.frommers.com/destinations/sangimignano/D49142.html

and another tid-bit on the cuisine, I'm currently in Sorrento, and had
THE BEST pistachio gelato ev-er...look at this look at this - helloo
gelato, how are you doing today?...also a "parfumi di sorrento" which
was basically every citrus flavor made icee-ed with bits of dried
fruits inside. a-ma-zing a-ma-zing

Toodles and safe travels everyone! More posts to come soon.

First real post!

We'll see how this goes...the internet access thus far has prevented
me from posting, and the hotel in Florence has limited internet. That
being said, lets try and upload some pictures...after all, they're
worth a thousand words

Here's a few from a day trip to Montepulciano, the first five of which
we were roaming around Siena looking for the bus/train station:

What. there are 2 bus stops in Siena?

we walk to the other one...and the adventure begins

more to come soon!

Test post...on the road

No, I did not post this while driving, that would be highly dangerous. I snapped the picture while driving and am writing this from my friends house in san pedro. I left santa barbara at 2pm. Graduation traffic plus turns out there are too many cars in LA made it a 3.5hr journey, but I'm safe at my friends house with my bags for the next 9 weeks.

Goodbye 101, goodbye ice in my water, goodbye reasonably priced food, goodbye burritos and american dollars, goodnight moon, and hello late meals, excellent coffee, and friends!

Post what you're looking forward too below!

Welcome to the blog!

The tiles at Santa Croce in Gerusalemme match the color of the blog.

Okay superlame, but there's not much to do with this blog until we're over in Italy. Feel free to post stories, videos, anecdotes, dinner menus, and lots and lots of pictures! See you all in Italy!
